I actually believe that it has been a rather good year. I have gradually been scoring more and more on my tests and quizzes, and I got an 80 on my exam when I fully expected not to. I will admit, though, that I could have done much better overall.
I've never been one for incessant studying - it makes me monstrously uncomfortable, but I ensure that I endure it for the reason that, quite frankly, it's necessary. I've been practicing far more this year that I had last year, hence my generally consistent good scores. However, if I studied more regularly, I could have definitely succeeded far more than I did.
We started the year with our goals, wherein we stated how we wished to grow by the end of the year. I mainly accentuated upon the point that I wanted to master conjugations, since I'm already rather well off when it comes to vocabulary. In fact, vocab is my strong point, because of my obsession with words in the English language. This is only fuelled by the various cognates connecting the "Romance Languages" to that of the British Empire.
I'm afraid I didn't do very well with the conjugations. It's not that I haven't memorised them; remembering suffixes is the easiest part of any language. It remembering to use them, and when. And that is where I have encountered constant trouble, from the beginning of the year to this day.
I must admit that I have gotten better with conjugations, but, again, I could be better. And, for next year, I am determined to work harder.
